For the artist's book 220 for 2020, Hockney compiled 220 (plus four bonus) wonderfully spontaneous iPad paintings created during 2020 and into the new year, each illustration tipped in on blue paper stock.
 
Each iPad painting in the book is printed with up to seven colours and illustrates Hockney's surroundings in Normandy.
