Celebrating British talent across several art forms

Thursday 24th November marked a special occasion that centred around an appreciation of British talent across several art forms including contemporary and modern art, bespoke cars, and fine wines.

Collect Art displayed many pieces of artwork (some had never been seen by the public eye before) from the likes of Theodore Major, Geoffrey Key and Kyffin Williams in the Overfinch showroom in Knutsford along with pieces of automotive art that have been crafted by Overfinch themselves.

We even displayed an original Banksy, which looked beautiful in the Overfinch window, attracting plenty of attention from passers-by.

The new Theodore Major pieces that recently landed at the gallery were also on show on the night (if you haven’t seen them yet, they are now back up on the gallery walls, please do come and see them).

Aiden Byrne, a Michelin-Starred chef who owns and runs The Church Green pub, prepared a selection of exquisite canapés for guests to enjoy. And we must say, they were beautiful.

Neatly paired with some of the finest English wines from Morgan Edwards, connoisseurs of the wine industry based in Knutsford. The evening was a fitting tribute to well-known British artists.

Geoffrey Key made a special appearance which proved popular with the guests, bringing character, fun and plenty of laughter to the room, as Geoffrey always does!
